- Problems at school or at home
- Mental health concerns
- Bullying or feeling unsafe
- Health or wellbeing concerns
- If you just need someone to talk to
You do not need to wait until things feel serious. We are here to help.
How to See Someone
There are a few ways you can get support:
- Ask your teacher
- Ask your Year Level Coordinator
- Go to the Wellbeing Office
- Ask at the school office
- Ask your parent or carer to contact us
We will organise a time to meet with you.
If something is urgent, tell a teacher straight away.
What Happens When You Meet With Us?
When you meet with a wellbeing staff member:
- We will listen to you
- We will treat you with respect
- We will help you work out what support you need
Sometimes this might include:
- Having a few support sessions
- Joining a small group program
- Helping you find support outside school
Privacy and Confidentiality
We will respect your privacy.
This means:
- We will not share your information with other students
- We may need to share information with adults who help support you
If we are worried about your safety or someone else’s safety, we must share this information to keep people safe.
We will always try to explain this to you.
Your Safety
You have the right to feel safe at school.
If you ever feel unsafe, you should tell:
- A teacher
- A wellbeing staff member
- Your Year Level Coordinator
- The Principal or Assistant Principal
- Any adult you trust
You can also tell your parent or carer.
Remember
It is OK to ask for help.
Everyone needs support sometimes.
Talking to someone can make a difference.
CSC is here to support you.
