Course Selection

Course Selection

Course selection is an important opportunity for students to shape their learning pathway and make informed decisions about their future. Students are supported throughout this process to explore their interests, understand subject requirements, and choose courses that align with their strengths, goals, and aspirations.

To assist with this, the College provides a range of information and support for students and families, including:

  • Subject presentations that introduce available courses and help students understand what each subject involves.
  • Course information sessions that explain the course selection process, requirements at each year level, and future pathways.
  • Information sessions for families and students, including opportunities to speak directly with Learning Area Leaders about specific subjects.
  • Individual course selection interviews, where students and their parent/carer meet with College staff to discuss options and receive personalised guidance before finalising preferences.

The Course Selection Website provides detailed information about subjects, course requirements, and pathways, and is an essential resource for students and families during this process.
Specific information about session times, interview bookings, and preference submission will be shared with families through Compass.
