Open Night

Open Night

Castlemaine Secondary College Open Night is held annually in March and provides prospective students and families with the opportunity to learn about the college and experience the school environment firsthand. The evening includes an overview of the college’s learning and wellbeing programs, the transition from primary to secondary school, and the range of opportunities available to students.
Families have the opportunity to meet with the Principal, Assistant Principal and Leadership Team members, who provide information about the college’s educational approach and student support. Visitors can also spend time in the Junior School to learn about the transition program and hear from key staff, as well as participate in student-led tours of the college to view learning spaces and facilities and gain insight into daily school life.
Castlemaine Secondary College is built around the values of Aspiration, Respect and Empathy, and its sub-school structure ensures students are supported academically, socially and emotionally throughout their secondary education. Open Night is an important part of the college’s transition and enrolment process, providing families with the information they need to make informed decisions about their child’s secondary schooling.
